Description

Tabi & Washi
The best socks for summer, combining comfort and style

Washi: "Japanese Paper" is a natural material from Japan made from paper. We use it for summer models because it is light, flexible, and has a better moisture absorption than cotton.

WASHI

We use pulp as a raw material for the production of fine and durable washi. The fineness of the washi affects the fineness of the yarn, which in turn affects the comfort of the socks.

TORSADED THREAD

The washi is cut into very thin strips one millimetre wide and twisted into a thread. The quality of the yarn is stabilised by the uniformity of the cut, which is the result of an elaborate Japanese technique that produces excellent socks.

WASHI YARN

The twisted washi is then dyed, rolled into cones and processed in the same way as cotton or wool yarn for making socks.

WASHI SOCKS

Washi socks are characterised by their rough texture. These socks are particularly suitable for summer because they are very breathable and do not absorb moisture.

SPONGE

The terry sock type has a thick weave in the sole.
It is recommended for active people.
